Dominic Hill
Assistant Coach
Dominic Hill was born in Margate. At University studying a BSC (Hons) in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation. One of his life achievements is obtaining a Black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He’s interests in Photography and craft based projects as a sideline business with his partner, Alicia. He also recently joined the Fire service as a on call Fireman.
He joined Thanet Parkour Academy in 2014, as a student, progressing on to become a key figure in TPA infrastructure. In 2018, he became a qualified Level 1 Parkour coach (1st4Sport) and aspires to work towards his level 2. He loves working at the club and being able to pass his knowledge onto others and grow in his own knowledge by working alongside Tyler. He hopes to seek a career in the Fire service after his university degree.
His passion for Parkour is articulated through his actions and practices. He teaches with Parkour mottos and ethos in mind such as 'Strong sprit and Strong mind'. He enjoys being able to express himself through movements, and the endless possibilities and diversity the sport has to offer. He feels the community is one of the best parts of sports participation providing others with healthy social engagement. He feels there is nothing better than going out training with your friends and exploring movement together. He believes that the longer you train for, the better training becomes, as you unlock so much more. He looks forward to his own personal development and gains from Parkour, that he can pass on to the community.
